Paolo Norte, 51, is a mechanical engineer and university professor. He was a lieutenant in the Army Corp of Engineers, then entered university life at U Tech, where he runs a lab, teaches a freshman course on the Philosophy of Science, and mentors upper level engineering students.
				He has become notorious on campus as a conservative "voice of reason", has an opinion column in the local paper. His witty style and cross-disciplinary knowledge has opened up a third career as pundit.
